Stand Up For Derbyshire 1926 September 2019 (by Nikki Shenton (nshenton)) |
Derbyshire Active Schools Network Friday 27th September 2019
As a school, along with other schools across Derbyshire, Heath Fields have made a pledge to be active for at least 50% of the school day tomorrow. This will include one class at a time participating in an active 'personal challenge' carousel during the morning. If the weather is dry, the school Lunchtime Mini Leaders and school Sports Council will be delivering games and activities across lunchtime. Each class will be demonstrating throughout the day to be an 'active classroom', this may include an active literacy or numeracy lesson, Super Movers, Yoga etc. We want the children to be learning, healthy and active whilst at school.
All pupils are to wear normal school uniform. PE kits should be in school if they are needed to change.
Thank you
Mrs Shenton
