Enterprise Education at Heath Fields Primary School
At Heath Fields Primary School Enterprise Education is a part of our curriculum. We want our children to develop a set of key skills that will support their progress and development through life. We want our children to be able to apply these different skills to different situations.
Each term, each year group will develop Enterprise Education through a particular curriculum area. Alongside our 6 key skills of team work, positive attitude, communication, application, problem solving and independence we will use relevant skills from the Enterprise Education Big 13.
Parents will be invited into school to share in Enterprise Education events.

What is enterprise education?
Enterprise capability - the ability to “be innovative, to be creative, to take risks and to manage them, to have a can-do attitude and the drive to make ideas happen.”
Financial capability is the ability to “manage one’s own finances and to become questioning and informed consumers of financial services.”
Economic and business understanding is the ability to “understand the business context and make informed choices between alternative uses of scarce resources.”
