A wonderful evening after school at Melbourne Sport Ground with a HF team of 27 Cross Country runners. I was extremely proud of all the HF children that participated in the event, competitive spirit and perseverance were demonstrated    whilst they competed. HF had some fantastic results ranging from 1st,2nd,3rd,4th and more. Oliver Springall came 1st in the years 4 boys 1km race, Alex Hill was also 1st in the year 6 boys 2km race. Imogen Fardoe was runner up in the girls year 6 2km race, Chloe Abberley 3rd in the girls year 4 1km race, Theo Underwood 4th in the year 6 boys 2km. There were also many more great results from HF’s, especially from children that have not competed in many competitions previously. The overall team school results are to be released tomorrow as the event ran over until nearly 6.30pm, a long tiring day for the competitors, I think there will also be some very achy legs tomorrow!! As always thank you to the adults for providing transport, your support is very much appreciated in helping us to participate in these events.
