A team of 2 boys and 2 girls from year 1 travelled to Green Bank this evening to participate in an Early Racers competition. The team had to be able to confidently ride a balance bike with speed and good control. There were 12 schools entered with a record 17 teams in total participating. It seems Heath Fields were pretty good riders as they came silver 2nd place to Fairmeadows ‘A’ team (did we take their reigning Basketball title away from them this week!). Absolutely brilliant performance from Heath Fields to finish in silver position out of so many other teams. Thank you and well done to our very own Laura Kenny (Mrs Palmer) for managing the team for me whilst I was Netballing’ again (Heath Fields ‘A’ team beat Church Broughton ‘A’ team 6-1). What a week for sport for Heath Fields. Well done woohoo..... Fingers crossed for the footballers next week in their football final.
