I am writing to you to invite Yr5 and Yr6 football players to attend a series of open training sessions which will be held every Thursday evening in February 2018 from 7.15pm to 8.30pm at Anglesey Primary Academy in Burton Upon Trent, DE14 3LG. Our objective of these training sessions is to identify players who demonstrate the potential to play first team football for Gresley FC. The first stage of this journey will involve being selected to join the Gresley FC Development Centre from July 2018 where they will be able to play football alongside like minded players, be coached by experienced FA qualified level 2 coaches and play games in the Midland Junior Premier League against other development centres from clubs such as Leicester City, QPR, Aston Villa, Solihull Moors and Mickleover Sports. Please feel free to come along to watch one of our development centre teams play at Gresley Old Hall, DE11 9QW, this month (fixtures also attached).
