A very long day today at Green Bank for the South Derbyshire schools competing in the annual Gymnastics competition. 9.30am-12.15pm saw Yrs 3 & 4 in action first. After lunch 1pm-3.15pm Yrs 1 & 2 and yrs 5 & 6. All competitors had to remember 2 individual floor routines and 2 vault jumps. The teams all tried really hard and pushed themselves. Yrs 1& 2 finished 1st winning GOLD, yrs 3 & 4 9th out of 12 teams, yrs 5 & 6 5th out of 13 teams. A super achievement. Once again thank you to the adults that helped transport the girls to and from the event, they couldn't have competed without you. Your support is always very appreciated.
